Welcome to Close Reach Academy, where we create environments where children are SEEN, KNOWN, and VALUED. We provide exceptional, intentional, inclusive, and academic childcare, creating a successful early childhood educational experience for students and their families. Experiential learning is instructor-led by a professional staff for children aged 1 to 5 years old. The Close Reach Academy experience fosters confidence, curiosity, independent thinkers, and problem solvers who love learning. With locations in Bothell, Arlington, and Kirkland, our team of experienced educators is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child in a safe, engaging, and fun environment.

Company History

Close Reach Academy is a locally owned and operated early childhood education center founded by Dr. Jennifer and Dr. Craig Pelissero.

Driven by their research and experience, Dr. Jennifer and Dr. Craig developed a unique experiential learning model. Their approach combines the best elements of various educational philosophies, with a focus on hands-on experiences in all subjects. This learning model fosters engagement, deep understanding, and independence, and accommodates a wide range of learning styles.

Their relational approach to early childhood education fosters strong connections among educators, students, and families. These connections create a supportive environment where children feel Seen, Known, and Valued. The Close Reach Academy model has a proven track record of fostering curiosity, a love of learning, and confident problem-solving skills.

Close Reach Academy has campuses in Bothell, Kirkland, Arlington, Kenmore, and Bellevue, where you will often see the founders and their family.
