Join Our Team: Lead Toddler Educator
Ivybrook Academy, a progressive Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool in Londonderry, NH, seeks a passionate Lead Toddler Educator. We're committed to providing a professional environment where educators can ignite the joy of learning in their students.
Job Details:
- School year: January to June (August to June starting next year), following the Londonderry Public School calendar
- Over 1 month paid vacation in a school calendar year
- Part-time schedule: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Supportive and professional work environment
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily lessons following a progressive approach
- Observe and evaluate children's progress
- Collaborate with staff and parents
- Maintain communication with parents
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school functions
- Portfolio assessments for all children
- Commit to continuing education
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children
Requirements:
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minmum education and experience requirements:
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is preferred
- CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
- 9 credits including child growth and development OR child growth and development and 1,000 hours in a center required
